COMPARING NOTES with ALFIE FRIEDMAN

Sunday 2nd April 2023, 7.00pm
Crazy Coqs, Brasserie Zédel

Comparing Notes brings stars of the West End and Broadway to Crazy Coqs, Live at Zedel. In a lively and informal mix of performance and conversation host Edward Seckerson will be getting up close and personal with these musical theatre luminaries and emerging stars, exploring the stories behind the songs and the personalities behind the artistry.

For this show, Edward will be joined by rising star Alfie Friedman, who recently appeared in The Witches of Eastwick in Concert at the Sondheim Theatre, and Maria Friedman & Friends: Legacy at the Menier Chocolate Factory.

Alfie Friedman is an up-and-coming British actor, writer, and composer-lyricist. He made his screen debut last year playing Gabriel Davies in Peter Kosminsky’s political thriller, The Undeclared War (Channel 4/Peacock) where he played opposite the likes of Sir Mark Rylance, Simon Pegg and Alex Jennings. Alfie starred as Michael Spofford in the West End concert revival of The Witches of Eastwick (The Sondheim Theatre) and was also in Legacy at the Menier Chocolate Factory celebrating the works of Stephen Sondheim, Marvin Hamlisch and Michel Legrand. Alfie is currently developing a new musical, Cosmonauts, with his collaborators Simon Lee and director Matt Ryan.
