Comparing Notes brings stars of the West End and Broadway to Crazy Coqs. In a lively and informal mix of performance and conversation host Edward Seckerson will be getting up close and personal with these musical theatre luminaries, exploring the stories behind the songs and the personalities behind the artistry.

For this show, Edward will be joined by West End star, Nadim Naaman (The Golden Age of Broadway BBC Proms 2021My Fair Lady; Phantom of the Opera; A Little Night Music; Broken Wings).

 

Nadim Naaman

Nadim trained in Musical Theatre at The Royal Academy of Music, where he has since been appointed an Associate. He graduated with Distinction, a dipRAM for Outstanding Final Recital and as winner of the Ronald William White Prize for Excellence in Acting Through Song.

Nadim has recently appeared as Freddy Eynsford-Hill in My Fair Lady (The Grange Festival and The Liceu, Barcelona); Count Carl Magnus in A Little Night Music (Holland Park Opera); Raoul in The Phantom of The Opera (Thessaloniki and Athens) and as Khalil Gibran in Broken Wings (London and Middle Eastern Tour). Other Credits include: On The Town (BBC Proms, Royal Albert Hall); By Jeeves (The Old Laundry); The Phantom of The Opera (Her Majesty’s Theatre); Sweeney Todd (Harrington’s Pie & Mash Shop); One Man, Two Guvnors (Theatre Royal Haymarket); The Sound of Music (London Palladium); Titanic (Princess of Wales, Toronto and Southwark Playhouse); Chess (The Union); Marguerite (Tabard); James and The Giant Peach (The Watermill) and The Last Five Years (Pleasance).

Nadim is the Book-Writer and Co-Composer (with Dana Al Fardan) of acclaimed Khalil Gibran musical Broken Wings, which premiered in London’s West End in 2018 before touring The Middle East. His second collaboration with Dana Al Fardan, Rumi: The Musical, has just been released as a Concept Album on all major digital platforms and hit No.1 in the iTunes Soundtrack Chart on release. Nadim’s 2016 album, Sides, reached No.1 in the iTunes UK Vocal Chart, and is available on iTunes and Spotify.

As a Concert Soloist, Nadim has performed with many of the world’s foremost Orchestras.
